Frequently Asked Questions : How do I measure for a screen? |
To enable you to measure your application correctly and order items of the correct finished frame size, please follow the instructions below:
Hinged and Liftout screens
- Measure the aperture (the opening) width & height.
- Measure the frame space available at the sides and top and bottom.
- Add a minimum of 10mm on to the width and height (this allows 5mm overlap each side). Always ensure you have 20mm of space each side to fit the hinges & catch. If you have more frame available increase the overlap.
