Frequently Asked Questions : How do I measure for a screen? |
To enable you to measure your application correctly and order items of the correct finished frame size, please follow the instructions below:
Door screens
- Measure the aperture (the opening) width & height.
- Measure the frame space available at the sides and top.
- Add a minimum of 10mm on to the width and 5mm to the height (this allows 5mm overlap each side). Always ensure you have 25mm of space each side to fit the hinges & catch. If you have more frame available increase the overlap.
